Healthy Caprine | Biomedical Research Caprine:
We are able to provide Boer and Spanish strains. Both breeds are quite hardy and adapt to a research environment readily.

Healthy Porcine | Biomedical Research Porcine:
The porcine model we provide is obtained from a known breeder. Typically, the domestic swine are of a Yorkshire cross strain.

The ovine model we provide is obtained from known breeders and quarantined at our facility for an appropriate amount of time before arriving at your facility. The ovine model is a domestic crossbred species. We have found that the Suffolk or Hampshire breeds typically adjust better to laboratory conditions. They also tend to have a more docile nature and welcome human contact. The ovine model is vaccinated for Clostridial disease and tetanus. An appropriate antibiotic and deworming regimen is followed.
